Pie Filled Fun...

We had our last big C Co. BBQ Thursday night and had a great time. We enjoyed FABULOUS burgers from the local Munson Angus Farms and great sides and desserts...all paid for thanks to the hard work of the FRG and fundraising over the past 18 mos. While Matt will still be in C Co. till August, it was my last time with everyone so I was thanked and given an awesome glass vase with C Co. BlackSheep etched on the glass and a very thoughtful scrapbook! THANKS LADIES! However, the highlight of the night was definitely the pie auction. The company needed some money on the soldier side of things for Hail/Farewells gifts, etc...so they did opportunity drawings and the pie auction. By the time the pie auction came to an end and Matt was the last man standing...the small pie tin miraculously morphed into an aluminum roasting pan of mustard, ketchup, pudding (vanilla and chocolate), baked beans and whip cream. ICK! It was entertaining nonetheless....and brought in some money!!
