One of the mother's of a soldier in our company has started a community project in her hometown in Utah. She has a goal of 400 fleece blankets by November 1st for the soldiers of our Battalion at the homecoming ceremonies! I was inspired tonight and made this one as an example....we are going to try and made a few locally to add to the numbers! This is only half the size required for the project (need 2 yard size) , but it will made a great Christmas gift for someone in my family. I'll be making a full size one with our BN FRG this weekend. They are SO easy and require no sewing skills.
If you can snip with scissors and tie knots, you are good to go!!

Hey where did you find that fabric? I looked for cute army fabric last christmas and couldn't find any. Looks good!
