What a great week at the beach! I wish the schedule for beach vacations could apply everyday. Sleeping in till 10 (thanks to a Papa who gets up early and can entertain Kilian)...coffee and cartoons till noon...4 hours in the waves and sand...some dinner and more relaxing. We watched fireworks on the beach Friday night and headed back to Raleigh yesterday. We celebrated the 4th in true surf and turf style with some awesome steaks and king crab legs at home. Delicious!

We have officially entered into our 3rd week of nomadic status...after 7 different sleeping places in 2 weeks, we have settled into Grammie and Papa's house till August when we'll head to Lousiana and set up our new home! Matt heads back to KS on Monday and will have to finish up his command before joining us in LA. Kilian and I are heading there early to get everything set up before I begin working full time at the end of August. Thankfully my sister

(the newlywed) will join me on the trip....we'll be driving from NC to LA,

so some company will be greatly appreciated!
