The next three days will be an update on each of us. Let's begin with the farthest locationally removed member of the family, Matt. He has been in Iraq since last September and he took command of Charlie Company, 3-1 AHB back in January. He has been busy with missions and command responsibilities ever since. The 15 months are taking their toll in means of days just dragging on and waiting anxiously to come home, but we are 10 down, 5 to go. He made PC (Pilot in Command) this week, so just another landmark in the progression of a Black Hawk Pilot. It takes a lot of hours, experience and hard work to achieve, so Congrats to Matt! We love you, miss you and are proud to call you Daddy and husband!
